Killington has some great steep rocky and rooty trails! It's a great place to go ride. They are in a National Park so they are somewhat limited by that in what they can build. It has to remain all natural. I ride Platty and Diablo on the regular, Killington is not as build up them but still has plenty to offer. There are lots of easy trails and some great steep challenging trails there. It sounds like you have not ridden there in a long time or you didn't find the Ram's Head side of the Mtn.
